Esli and Jaala. Mother and Father. Our new mother and father. Me, Claudia, and Andre had only gotten here last night. We were riding in a car- yes, a car!- through the large, bustling German city. We had never been to Germany before. Infact,we had hardly ever been out of Italy!! Our new home was nice and comfortable, not to mention a little rich-looking. Claudia had gone straight to bed after being shown the bed and bathrooms, but me and Andre had got to stay up and look around our new home. This was our fifth home. I looked around at the walls; the paintings, the picture books, the crosses. I looked at my older brother and asked in Italian, "Andre, what religion our these people?" Andre looked at the walls too. He said a word I had heard from the German people on the way here. One all three of us had learned. "Juden." So. Apperently we're Jewish now.
